Subject
The subject can be a noun, a pronoun, or a noun phrase.
يمكن أن يكون الفاعل اسمًا، أو ضميرًا، أو عبارة اسمية
1. Noun
A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or animal.
Examples: Mohamed, Sara, doctor, house, book, cat
الاسم هو كلمة تُطلق على شخص أو مكان أو شيء أو حيوان
أمثلة: محمد، سارة، ‘طبيب، منزل، كتاب، قطة
Determine the subject and its type.
- Mohamed is a student.
- Sara is happy.
- Summer is hot.
- English is easy.
- Australia is a country.
- Open the door.
2. Subject Pronoun
A subject pronoun is a pronoun that is used as the subject of a sentence.
ضمير الفاعل هو ضمير يُستخدم بوصفه فاعلًا في الجملة.
I = أنا
You = أنت / أنتم
He = هو
She = هي
It = هو أو هي (لغير العاقل)
We = نحن
They = هم
Determine the subject and its type.
- Jack is a photographer.
- He is a photographer.
- She is a teacher.
- Sara is a student.
- You are from Saudi Arabia.
- Canada is a big country.
3. Noun Phrase
A noun phrase is a group of words that acts as one noun. It may contain an article or a possessive adjective before the noun.
العبارة الاسمية هي مجموعة من الكلمات تعمل كاسم واحد.
وقد تتكون من أداة معرفة أو نكرة + اسم،
article + noun
.The student is smart
.A student in my class is absent
أو صفة ملكية + اسم.
possessive adjective + noun
.My car is very fast
.His children are smart
.Her house is big
possessive adjective + noun
صفة ملكية + اسم
my car = سيارتي
your car = سيارتك/ سيارتكم
his car = سيارته
her car = سيارتها
our car = سيارتنا
their car = سيارتهم
its car = سيارته (لغير العاقل)
